I’ve experienced first-hand what type of impact good, quality training from good, quality people can have on an individual

Sports and Fitness have been a vital part of my entire life. My mom was a personal trainer and growing up I learned that a link existed between a sound Strength & Conditioning program and developing as an athlete. Through sports and Strength & Conditioning, I’ve learned the importance of physical fitness and preparedness as it applied to the sport at which I was competing. The disciplines of this field have helped shape me into the man I am today.

I have been fortunate enough to have played collegiate football for Western Carolina University and I’ve experienced first-hand what type of impact good, quality training from good, quality people can have on an individual. I have experienced this impact both as a player and now as a coach as I have spent the last two years as a high school Strength Coach. The carryover from the Fitness and Strength & Conditioning world to sport and to real life is unlike any other. There is no doubt about it—proper training and practice WILL make you a better overall athlete, but also a better overall person. Now when I say I better overall person I mean this—when an individual commits to the process, a complete Strength & Conditioning program has the ability to mold the character of that individual into something that is special and lasting.

I am new here at Vitality, but from the moment I walked in the door I knew that the standard was excellence and that this place was going to challenge me and grow me, both physically and professionally. I believe that to be the case for anyone who walks through these doors. Whether your goal is to become a better athlete, to lead a healthier lifestyle, or to be fit; commit to the process and set yourself up to become a special version of yourself. “Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all your might.”
